Royal Hotel Carlton is located next to the pedestrian area in the heart of Bologna. The hotel combines facilities for business travellers with a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.

Built in the seventies on the site of the former “Il Resto del Carlino” building, the hotel was designed by architect Enzo Zacchiroli, whose architectural works, including Johns Hopkins University and Malpighi Hospital, enrich the city of Bologna.

The hotel features 236 rooms, a spacious convention centre, the exclusive Monrif SPA, a large Technogym fitness facility and a covered garage with 200 parking spaces. The property is surrounded by a large garden and includes an indoor pool for private events.

With its refined and elegant decorations, the foyer offers private lounges for relaxing or discussing business, between the cocktail bar and The Spoon Restaurant.

A business centre and Wi-Fi throughout the rooms and public areas support the needs of conference participants and business travellers.

Royal Hotel Carlton is also a convenient starting point for exploring Bologna and its surroundings.
