About EPIC Conferences

The European Process Intensification Conference (EPIC) is the leading European conference series dedicated to Process Intensification, bringing together researchers, industrial practitioners, technology developers, and students from around the world.

Previous editions of EPIC were held as follows:

• 8th European Process Intensification Conference - EPIC 2023
  Warsaw, Poland, 31 May -2 June 2023.
• 7th European Process Intensification Conference - EPIC 2019
  Leuven, Belgium, 27-29 May 2019. Held in conjunction with the 2nd International Process Intensification Conference (IPIC2). The joint conference was organized as IPIC2-EPIC2019.
• 6th European Process Intensification Conference - EPIC 2017
  Barcelona, Spain, 1-5 October 2017. Held in conjunction with the 1st International Process Intensification Conference (IPIC1) and the 10th World Congress of Chemical Engineering (WCCE10).
• 5th European Process Intensification Conference - EPIC 2015
  Nice, France, 27 September - 1 October 2015. Held in conjunction with the 10th European Congress of Chemical Engineering (ECCE10) and the 3rd European Congress of Applied Biotechnology (ECAB3).
• 4th European Process Intensification Symposium - EPIC 2013
  The Hague, The Netherlands, 21-25 April 2013. Held in conjunction with the 9th European Congress of Chemical Engineering (ECCE9) and the 2nd European Congress of Applied Biotechnology (ECAB2).
• 3rd European Process Intensification Conference - EPIC 2011
  Manchester, United Kingdom, 20-23 June 2011.
• 2nd European Process Intensification Conference - EPIC 2009
  Venice, Italy, 14-17 June 2009. Held jointly with the International Green Process Engineering Congress (GPE-EPIC 2009).
• 1st European Process Intensification Conference - EPIC 2007
  Copenhagen, Denmark, 17-18 September 2007. Held as a premier satellite event of the 6th European Congress of Chemical Engineering (ECCE-6).
