GETTING TO FAVIGNANA
Favignana, the largest of the Egadi Islands, is located off the western coast of Sicily and can only be reached by sea. The island is connected throughout the year with frequent hydrofoil and ferry services from the Port of Trapani, with additional seasonal connections from other ports.
By Air
The nearest airports are:
- Palermo Falcone Borsellino Airport - approximately 90 km from the Port of Trapani (about 1.5 hours by bus or car). It offers a wider range of international and domestic flights.
- Trapani-Birgi Vincenzo Florio Airport - approximately 15 km from the Port of Trapani (about 20-30 minutes by bus or taxi). This is the closest and most convenient airport for reaching Favignana.
From the Airports to Trapani Port

From Palermo Airport, direct coach services operated by SEGESTA Autolinee connect the airport with Trapani city and the Port of Trapani.
From Trapani to Favignana
Favignana can be reached from the Port of Trapani by:
- Hydrofoil (Liberty Lines) - approximately 30 minutes.
- Ferry (Siremar) - approximately 1 hour; suitable for passengers travelling with vehicles (subject to seasonal restrictions on the island).

Getting Around Favignana
The conference venue is located close to the town centre. The island is best explored on foot, by bicycle or by scooter, all of which are available for rent near the port. Public buses also connect the main beaches and attractions.
