The AIDIC Youth Working Group is pleased to invite all PhD students registered for the congress to the pub quiz to be held at the Pils pub.This activity offers an unmissable opportunity to taste typical Italian dishes and enjoy a well-deserved moment of socialization, pleasure and pure fun

EVENT 2 - TUESDAY 25 FROM 8:00 TO 9:00 - room AIDA B

MEET YOUR IDOL
The AIDIC Youth Working Group is pleased to invite all PhD students registered for the congress to a breakfast to be held in room AIDA-B of the Starhotel ROSA GRAND MILAN, prior to the E2DT Plenary. During the breakfast a brief presentation of AIDIC will be given by Giorgio Veronesi. David Bogle, Jarka Glassey, and Petr Kluson will be present and they have made themselves available to answer any questions and curiosities

EVENT 3 - WEDNESDAY 26 FROM 15:00 TO 17:00 - Milan

VISIT TO SILLA 2 WASTE-TO-ENERGY PLANT
The AIDIC Youth Working Group is offering the opportunity to visit the Silla 2 waste-to-energy plant (Milan) to all PhD students registered for the congress subject to availability. The plant represents a perfect example of circular economy: in fact, steam is generated from the combustion of waste to produce electricity and thermal energy to feed the district heating network of the city and neighboring municipalities. AIDIC provides interested parties with a coach for hotel-plant travel. The visit lasts about 2 hours and t will be held in English.
