VENUE & GENERAL INFORMATION
The Symposium will be held at the Convention Centre of the University of Naples Federico II (via Partenope 36). The building is located in a magnificent position on the city seafront, in a pedestrian area and close to many hotels for your stay. The Convention Centre, in the vicinity of which are located some of the main sites of artistic and landscape interest, is also connected, by public transport, to the historic center of the city (approximately 2.5 km away).

In addition to using a taxi, if you wish to reach the venue by public transport, the nearest metro stop (line 1) is located in Piazza Municipio ("city hall", Municipio stop, approximately 1.5 km away). Arriving by plane at Naples International Airport, take the "Alibus" public shuttle to the central train station (Piazza Garibaldi). Here, take the metro (line 1) and get off at Municipio (after 3 stops). Arriving by train (e.g. from Rome) at the central train station (Piazza Garibaldi), take the metro (line 1) and get off at Municipio (after 3 stops). Distances (approx.): Airport to Convention Centre: 9 km. Central train station to Convention Centre: 5 km. Hotel reservations will be made individually by the participants.
