TOPICS of CISAP12 and FEx 2026
The Conference technical program is structured into parallel sessions, which
will be held over three days.
The Conference topics will be discussed across invited plenary lectures, selected
lecture presentations and poster sessions.
Posters will stay on display for the entire duration of the Conference, promoting
the Authors' work and spontaneous discussion.
The main aim of CISAP 12 is to provide an extensive international panorama of
the latest contributions concerning Process and Environmental Safety, addressing
the following topics:
1. Environmental impact and emergency releases, 50 years after Seveso: new
regulations and trends;
2. NaTech Risks, related to climate change;
3. Safety in plant construction and operation: safety culture in companies and
society, staff training and new tools, accidents prevention at site;
4. Fires and Explosions: risks, modelling, electrostatics;
5. Risks related to Energy Transition: H2, NH3, others;
6. Nuclear power safety, 40 years after Chernobyl: risks of new generation reactors
and SMRs/AMRs, decommissioning, storage;
7. Safety 5.0, AI and digital transformation of industrial processes.
8. Safety Fundamentals: Multi risk assessment, Resilience of complex systems, Safety in transportation, Safety of decarbonization, Physical-cyber security in processes, Human factors, etc.
