EDITORIAL

This volume #45 of Chemical Engineering Transactions presents a selection of high-quality articles on Process Integration, Modelling and Optimisation for Energy Saving and Pollution Reduction. The main goal of the current volume is to provide an up-to-date summary the latest developments and applications in the fields of Process Integration, mathematical modelling and optimisation for energy conservation, pollution reduction and related topics, leading to sustainable, environmentally friendly and cleaner production.
