The Symposium is held at:

" Centro Congressi" (Villa Vittoria), Piazza Adua 1, I-50123 Florence, Italy"

situated in the heart of the City just in front of the Rail Station, 10 minutes walk from the historic center of the town.

The Center is housed in the 19^th Century Villa Vittoria, originally built by the Strozzi Family from Mantua, surrounded by a wide park which provides the Center with an unique location.

Symposium desks for registration will open at 08:00 and will remain open until close of the sessions on each day. However all participants are asked to anticipate their registration and to collect Symposium documentation at the Congress Center on Sunday afternoon from 17:00 to 19:00.

Registration fee includes, Symposium facilities, Refreshments, three Lunches and the Gala Dinner.

Each oral presentation will last 15 minutes + 5 for panel discussion, i.e. 20 minutes in total. Speakers are invited to introduce themselves to the Session Chairman before the beginning of each Session. Presentations may be assisted only by transparencies projectors.

Posters should be exposed for the Whole Symposium time and personally dismounted by poster owners on Wednesday. This Permanent poster session has been set up with the specific purpose of providing all the Participants with a longer time dedicated to comments and discussions on posters subjects. In addition to this, two specific periods of the Symposium are scheduled on Monday and Tuesday (approx 14:00-15:00) where all the oral presentations are suppressed with the aim of giving space to on site posters discussions. Poster size should not exceed 80cm (width) 120cm (height).

Coffee breaks are served in " Galleria", situated at the first floor of Villa Vittoria.

Lunches are served in " Centro Affari", at the third floor. Lunch time is expected to last 1hr and 20 minutes.

All the participants are invited to a Welcome Party which will take place in "Galleria" on Monday, 8 , 17:40-19:30.

During the Party the next ESCAPE event will be presented .

Gala Dinner will take place in " Limonaia del Carmine" located in Florence , "Piazza del Carmine 2",

on Tuesday 9, starting at 20:30. The venue is 10-15 minutes walk from the Symposium Site: (see map below)

• Cross the Railway Station (Piazza della Stazione), take the direction " S. Maria Novella",

through the street "via Degli Anelli".

• Leave the Church at your right side, cross the square and take the street: "Via de’ Fossi". At its end you reach the river bank in "Piazza Goldoni"
• Cross the river, cross "Piazza N. Sauro" and then turn right at the first street: "Via Frediano".
• At the first corner at your left you will see the Entrance to: "Limonaia del Carmine"
