AIDIC WELCOMES YOU TO
CAMURE 11 and ISMR 10
11th International Symposium on Catalysis in Multiphase
Reactors & 10th International Symposium on Multifunctional Reactors
On behalf of the Italian Association of Chemical Engineering
(AIDIC) we warmly welcome you to the International Symposium on Catalysis
in Multiphase Reactors and Multifunctional Reactors that will be held in
Milano (Italy).
The general theme of CAMURE - 11 & ISMR - 10 will be:
"Role of the interface in chemical and biochemical engineering processes"
The CAMURE-ISMR joined Symposium, born as European Symposium, has reached
along the years a higher and higher level of international participation
also thank to some of the past editions held in India, Canada and China.
The Symposium attracts scientists from many different worldwide countries
providing a platform for discussing the latest progress in the field of
multiphase catalytic systems and multifunctional reactors, following both
the scientific and the technological interdisciplinary approach. The ultimate
scope is to pursue more efficient chemical and biochemical reactors, more
efficient catalytic systems, more valuable chemical engineering reactor
design and simulation. Another scope is to favor the contact between chemists
and chemical engineers for a fruitful discussion on all the mentioned topics
and for transferring knowledge to the young researchers.
The Symposium contributions will be: Plenary Lectures,
Keynotes, Lectures and Poster contributions.
Seleted contributions, after peer review, will be published on a special
issue of Ind. Eng. & Chem. Research.
Your participation to the symposium is warmly welcome and we hope you will enjoy your stay in Milano.
On behalf of the Scientific and Organizing Committee
Prof. Elio Santacesaria (Chairman of the Symposium)
Prof. Sauro Pierucci (Chairman of the Organizing Committee)
NOTE regarding COVID-19
pandemic
Following
the unexpected worldwide spread out of Covid-19 and consequent lockdown,
last March 2020 the Organizers decided to postpone CAMURE11-ISMR10 Symposia
from May 2020 to March 2021.
Although the pandemic is still not over, we don't let Covid-19 leads the
life of our scientific community: therefore we have decided to go ahead
with this new schedule.
We are perfectly aware of the many uncertainties and difficulties we all
share; on this regard we are also working on remote participation - hybrid
format and virtual format - to guarantee a continuity to the Symposia
and be prepared whatever will be the scenario in March 2021.
