WELCOME to NINE
the
INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON NANOTECHNOLOGY BASED INNOVATIVE APPLICATIONS
FOR THE ENVIRONMENT
20-23 March 2016, Rome, Italy
The conference aims at presenting recent scientific and technical advances in the field of the application of nanotechnologies to environmental protection, including characterization, monitoring, remediation of contaminated sites, and treatment of water, wastewater and residues.
The Conference, that will be held in Rome, Italy, on 20-23 March 2016, is organized by the Italian Association of Chemical Engineering (AIDIC) in collaboration with the Department of Chemical Materials Environmental Engineering (DICMA) of Sapienza, University of Rome.
The venue of the Conference is the Radisson Blue Hotel, located nearby the Central Train Station (Termini).
NINE welcomes the contribution of researchers and engineers from universities and institutions as well as stakeholders from industry, to present recent advances and new approaches on the application of nanotechnologies for the environment.
The Conference will include the following topics:
1. Nanosensors and bionanosensors
for environmental characterization and monitoring
2. Technologies for the production of Nanomaterials for the environment
3. Nanostructured materials for advanced remediation processes
4. Nano-based water and wastewater treatment processes
5. Membrane processes for the environment
6. Health and safety issues concerning Nanomaterials
7. Education on Environmental Engineering and Nanotechnology
Oral and poster sessions will take place, and each oral session will be introduced by keynote speakers.
All the accepted papers
presented at the Conference will be published into the Chemical Engineering Transactions.
The Journal is valued by ISBN & ISSN numbers, and referenced by SCOPUS and
THOMSON REUTERS citation indexes (ISI Web of Knowledge).
