WELCOME

IBIC2008 is the first biannual International Conference on Industrial Biotechnology and represents the evolution of seven (2001 - 2007) one-day workshops performed on a national basis in the field of Industrial Biotechnology.

IBIC2008, as well the previous one-day events, is organised by AIDIC, the Italian Association of Chemical Engineering, which will be seconded, on this occasion, by Federico II University of Naples, under the patronage of Assobiotec (Italian Association for Biotechnology Development), Milan Bicocca University (UNIMIB), EFB (European Federation of Biotechnology), SCI (Italian Chemistry Association).

IBIC2008 will cover very timely topics of Industrial Biotechnology by invitation of skilled Italian and international speakers. IBIC2008 aims to exchange up-to the minute information on industrial needs, new technology developments and research opportunities.
